What is minimalism?

I wanna know more about minimalism, why do we like it and why don't we like it?? Is everything that is minimalistic all about the use of gravitated objects? Here my assumption using illustration and photography, i have portrayed my interpretation of how the media centres a lot of minimalism, how does advertising disrupt art? Minimalism is a target in the media, the profit margin is gross for the next top designer, but is it art?

Define yourself? Is that even possible? Sometimes I think the girl next door might know me better, she says 'Hey remember that time Libby......?' I really don't but this is what I grasped as a few factors that define me. I always thought within the Gold they don't want to define you..... but maybe they just float on a breeze?
