Promotional gig flyer, lino cut using oil based printing ink, which may i add does not dry even after a week!!!!!Made using Photoshop to esemble the typography due to hand rendered type not being able to be applied onto wet artwork. I carved my bear design into lino cut, i wanted to experiment using lino cut as i have used screen printing and wanted to experiment with other types of print techniques as it greatly interests me and fits my template for designs. A5 size. The burgandy compliments the black tones of the bear and acts as a visually pleasing background for my lino art. Prints turned out crisp black and not blotchy, probably due to the use of oil based inks?
